Delhi: Metro services between Rajiv Chowk and Mandi House stations on the Blue Line (Line-3&4, i.e., Dwarka Sec-21 to Noida Electronic City/Vaishali) will remain closed on Sunday due to scheduled maintenance work. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) issued a statement on Friday informing commuters about the temporary suspension of train services on this section.
Starting from the beginning of revenue service on Sunday until 6:00 a.m., train services will not be available between Rajiv Chowk and Mandi House stations. Consequently, Barakhamba Road Metro station will also remain closed until train services resume on this section at 6:00 a.m.
However, train services on the rest of the Blue Line, including from Dwarka Sec-21/Dwarka to Rajiv Chowk and from Mandi House to Noida City Centre/Vaishali, will continue to operate as per their regular timetable during this maintenance period.
To accommodate passengers during this time, commuters traveling on the Blue Line who wish to go beyond Rajiv Chowk or Mandi House stations are advised to de-board at the respective stations and use the Yellow and Violet lines (vice versa) to reach their desired destinations. Afterward, they can continue their travel on the Blue Line.
To ensure proper communication and assistance for passengers, regular announcements will be made at the stations and inside the trains. Additionally, extra staff will be deployed to facilitate the smooth flow of commuters. Train services in the Noida City Centre to Noida Electronic City section will commence at 8:00 a.m., following the routine Sunday timetable.
