Gaza Clash: Israeli drone kills gunman as Hezbollah

Tel Aviv: In a recent incident on the Lebanese-Israeli border, an Israeli drone targeted an armed individual near Wadi Hounin, adjacent to the town of Houla. This person had crossed the border fence and infiltrated the Israeli town of Margaliot before withdrawing towards Lebanese territory. The Israeli military fired phosphorus bombs at the individual and eventually launched a missile from a drone to eliminate the threat.

In response to this incident, Hezbollah announced that its fighters used guided missiles to target several Israeli sites along the border. The Israeli retaliation resulted in damage to a chicken farm and 15 houses in various Lebanese towns near the border.

The escalation on the Lebanese-Israeli border began after Hezbollah fired rockets towards military sites in Shebaa Farms in support of the al-Aqsa operation launched by Hamas on October 7. This prompted Israeli forces to respond by firing heavy artillery at several areas in southeast Lebanon.
