The first part of the film’s shooting has already concluded, and now Jr NTR, alongside rising Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor, is gearing up to commence the second phase of ‘Devara.’
This new schedule will unfold against the picturesque backdrop of Goa, as the fantasy-action-thriller film is set in the coastal regions of India.
The ‘Devara’ team excitedly announced the start of their shoot on the Goan coast, stating on their social media handle: “Our #Devara @tarak9999 arrives at the seashore to join the Goa schedule from today.”
This second schedule is expected to be a continuous endeavor and may extend until mid-2024. Janhvi Kapoor, known for her role in ‘Gunjan Saxena,’ is set to be occupied with shooting in Goa from October onwards, with the schedule projected to last until January.
Director Siva Kortala previously revealed that ‘Devara’ would be divided into two parts due to its substantial runtime, intricate storytelling, and meticulously detailed aesthetic canvas. This decision was made to ensure the narrative is given the depth and attention it deserves.
‘Devara’ weaves a compelling and powerful narrative focused on the lesser-explored coastal lands and is being produced on a grand scale by Yuvasudha Arts in collaboration with NTR Arts. The film’s expansive canvas has allowed for in-depth exploration of significant characters.
In ‘Devara,’ Jr NTR takes on the titular character, while Janhvi Kapoor essays the role of the female lead. The film’s antagonist is portrayed by Saif Ali Khan. The production is led by Sudhakar Mikkilineni and Harikrishna, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Movie enthusiasts can expect the grand theatrical release of ‘Devara’ in April 2024.
