AICC President Mallikarjuna Kharge Reflects on His First Year in Office

New DElhi: AICC President Mallikarjuna Kharge, in a recent statement, acknowledged the numerous challenges he faces in his role, asserting that no challenge seems insurmountable. Kharge, while speaking to reporters at Kalaburagi airport, emphasized his commitment to delivering with honesty and efficiency during his first year in office.

Kharge also expressed optimism about the upcoming assembly elections in five states, stating that the wave is in favor of the Congress party.

He criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for what he believes is the misuse of government resources for political purposes, predicting that the people will provide a resounding response after these elections.

When questioned about the possibility of a change in the Chief Minister of Karnataka, Kharge deferred to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and state party president D.K. Shivakumar for clarification on the matter.

The Karnataka Congress unit marked the occasion of Kharge’s one-year tenure as AICC president on social media. They praised Kharge as a statesman and a proud son of Karnataka, highlighting his efforts in empowering and strengthening the party over the past year and his dedication to bringing the Congress to power in multiple states.

Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar also extended his congratulations to Mallikarjun Kharge, acknowledging the growth and strength of the organization under Kharge’s leadership and expressing confidence in its continued progress under his visionary guidance.
