PM Modi Calls Next Five Years Crucial, Advocates Giant Leap Towards ‘Viksit Bharat’

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the significance of the next five years for India, urging the nation to take a monumental stride towards ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India). Speaking at the valedictory address of the two-day BJP National Convention in New Delhi, PM Modi highlighted that the BJP’s return to power is imperative to achieve these goals.

The convention, attended by over 11,500 delegates, including Union Ministers, Chief Ministers, MPs, and MLAs, concluded with a renewed sense of purpose and determination towards building a prosperous and inclusive India under the BJP’s leadership.

Addressing party leaders and workers, PM Modi urged them to embark on the Lok Sabha campaign with renewed vigor, aiming to connect with every segment of society and gain their trust within the next 100 days. He set a bold target for the BJP to surpass the 370-seat mark in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, envisioning a resounding victory for the NDA alliance with 400 seats.

Enumerating his government’s accomplishments, PM Modi asserted that under his leadership, India has witnessed a significant reduction in corruption and terror attacks, alongside improvements in the lives of the poor and middle class. He underscored the NDA government’s track record of bold decisions and forward-looking policies, including landmark initiatives like the construction of the Ram Mandir, opening of the Kartarpur corridor, abrogation of Article 370, and implementation of the National Education Policy.

PM Modi reiterated that his aspirations align with the dreams of millions of women, the poor, and youth, emphasizing his advocacy for a third term for the BJP not for political gains but for the nation’s benefit. He contrasted the BJP-led NDA government’s achievements, elevating India to the top five global economies, with the previous government’s failure to propel the nation from the 11th to the 10th position.

Emphasizing the principle of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ (One India, Great India), PM Modi highlighted his government’s inclusive approach to development, focusing on every region, including the northeast, unlike previous administrations. He touted India’s strengthened relations with the West Asia region and reiterated BJP’s commitment to India’s development by 2047.

During the convention, the BJP adopted a resolution condemning the opposition for its negativity, narrowness, and corruption, highlighting the BJP’s vision for India’s future under PM Modi’s leadership. The resolution also praised PM Modi’s role in the pranpratistha of Ram Lala in Ayodhya, marking it as the dawn of a new era.
