Gaza: The Gaza-based Health Ministry has issued a pressing call for the evacuation of approximately 120 patients from the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis city, situated in the southern Gaza Strip.
In an official statement conveyed to the news agency on Tuesday, the Health Ministry emphasized the critical need for relocating patients to alternative medical facilities. The necessity arises from the operational shutdown of vital medical equipment at the Nasser Medical Complex, attributed to recent Israeli airstrikes.
Nasser Hospital, the region’s second-largest medical facility, ceased operations subsequent to an Israeli military intervention on February 14, following an extended period of closure, as reported by news agencies.
The Israeli military formally announced the conclusion of its operations at the hospital on Sunday, disclosing the apprehension of approximately 200 individuals suspected of involvement in Hamas-related activities.
