New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the people of Kashi (Varanasi) upon being nominated by the BJP for the parliamentary seat in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. This marks PM Modi’s third candidacy from the revered constituency.
Following the announcement of his candidature in the BJP’s initial list of 195 candidates, PM Modi conveyed his appreciation via X, stating, “I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to serve the esteemed residents of Kashi for the third consecutive term.”
PM Modi humbly acknowledged the unwavering support of millions of dedicated party workers and expressed his gratitude to the party leadership for entrusting him with the responsibility once again.
Reflecting on his commitment to Kashi, PM Modi emphasized, “Since 2014, my mission in Kashi has been to fulfill the aspirations of its people and uplift the most marginalized sections of society. Our collective efforts over the past decade have resulted in significant progress across various domains, and we remain steadfast in our pursuit of a brighter future for Kashi. I deeply value the blessings bestowed upon me by the people of Kashi.”
In extending his congratulations to all party candidates, PM Modi affirmed on X, “While our party has announced candidates for select constituencies, the remaining nominations will be disclosed shortly. I extend my best wishes to those nominated by our party.”
PM Modi reiterated the BJP’s commitment to governance excellence and equitable progress, stating, “Our electoral campaign rests on our proven record of effective governance and inclusive development, aimed at uplifting the underprivileged. I am confident that the 1.4 billion citizens of India will once again bless us and empower us to fulfill their aspirations, thereby propelling India towards prosperity.”
