Patna: Bihar’s Leader of the Opposition, Tejashwi Yadav, has boldly stated that the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Bihar will deliver unexpected outcomes, catching many by surprise.
As the electoral fervor grips the state, Yadav expressed confidence in his party’s preparedness for the elections, asserting their readiness to contest with full vigor. He emphasized the anticipation of a significant victory for his party in the polls.
Yadav dismissed pre-election surveys conducted by various television channels, suggesting that the actual sentiment of Bihar’s electorate differs significantly from these predictions. He highlighted the voters’ focus on comparing the achievements of the Mahagathbandhan government’s 17-month tenure with the 17-year rule of the NDA government led by Nitish Kumar. Additionally, he underscored the scrutiny of the Central government’s performance in Bihar over the past decade.
Critiquing the Central government’s neglect of Bihar’s development needs, Yadav pointed out the lack of significant initiatives for the state. He challenged the government on issues such as job creation, addressing inflation, and agricultural concerns.
Yadav called upon the NDA MPs from Bihar to account for their accomplishments during their tenure, questioning the progress made in terms of industrial development and public welfare projects.
Referencing the developmental initiatives undertaken during Lalu Prasad Yadav’s tenure as Union Railway Minister, Yadav emphasized the need for similar transformative measures to benefit Bihar.
Responding to claims by NDA leaders projecting a landslide victory, Yadav remained focused on addressing the concerns of the common people, suggesting that such claims may not align with ground realities.
