BJP and Congress Have Joined Hands, Alleges BRS Leader KTR

Adilabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K T Rama Rao (KTR) on Sunday accused the BJP and Congress of having an understanding, alleging that both parties were working together despite being political rivals.

Addressing a gathering in Adilabad, KTR questioned the silence of the local BJP MLA and MP over the Congress government in Telangana. He alleged that the BJP was focused on dividing people, while the Congress government was engaged in exploiting them.

KTR also claimed that Telangana’s atmosphere of peace, brotherhood and prosperity during the previous 10 years had changed under the present government.

Referring to celebrations of Ramzan and Bathukamma, he said traditional gestures such as distributing gifts during festivals had disappeared.

Urging people to think carefully before voting, KTR said voters would have to bear the consequences of a wrong electoral choice for five years.
