Chennai: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to spearhead a robust campaign effort in Tamil Nadu on Thursday, rallying support for five NDA candidates. Arriving in the afternoon, Shah will traverse through four Lok Sabha constituencies—Ramanathapuram, Tenkasi, Kanyakumari, and Theni—participating in a series of roadshows and rallies.
In Madurai’s Anna Nagar, Shah will headline a rally in support of senior BJP leader Raama Srinivasan. His itinerary includes joining former Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam’s (OPS) roadshow in Ramanathapuram and endorsing TMMK leader B. John Pandian’s campaign in Tenkasi.
Further strengthening NDA’s prospects, Shah will join senior BJP leader Pon Radhakrishnan’s roadshow in Kanyakumari, aiming to secure the seat from the Congress. He will cap off his itinerary by engaging in a campaign program for AMMK leader TTV Dhinakaran in Theni, the lone constituency won by NDA in Tamil Nadu during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
