Spiced Beetroot Buttermilk is a delicious and refreshing drink for hot summer. This drink is spiced, chilled and flavored buttermilk. Spiced beetroot buttermilk is a yogurt based drink recipe. To prepare this drink many ingredients are not required. This recipe is also called beetroot chaas. This is one of the colorful and healthier drinks. Preparation of this beverage doesn’t need much time.
For making this drink take a beetroot and peel the skin and grate it nicely. You can use boiled or cooked beetroots for making this recipe. To make it spicy, I added green chilly and ginger pieces. Curry leaves lift the taste of buttermilk. Salt and chilled adjust to personal choice. Instead of buttermilk you can use curd or yogurt. Once all ingredients are ready, transfer to the blender and blend and strain the puree. Add enough water and ice cubes. I want chilled buttermilk so I used ice cubes. It is completely optional.
While preparing the Spiced Beetroot Buttermilk beverage you can change several ingredients. That is you can use cooked beetroot for making this drink. Mint and coriander leaves can include while blending. To make creamy drinks instead buttermilk you can use curd. While blending you can out ice cubes for more chill.
