Pumpkin Soup

Pumpkin Soup is healthy and easy to prepare. It is packed with nutrition and one pot meal. This yellow pumpkin is lightly sweetish in taste. The pumpkin soup is very colourful and tasty too. This soup speciality can be served hot or cold.

 

The pumpkin soup is prepared with some handy available ingredients. This soup does not need much spices. For spicy, I need a little black pepper. More than pumpkin, only Garlic and onion are needed.

This pumpkin soup is really light and gluten free. Additionally you can add cream or curd to this soup recipe. If you skip the adding of oil or any creams it will be fat free soup. While grinding the yellow pumpkin it becomes thicker so no need to add any extra cream to this soup.

You can use any edible pumpkin to make the soup. While using the pumpkin, peel it and remove all the seeds from the pumpkin. I made small pieces of pumpkin because it is easy to cook in a pan. Instead of a pan you made large pieces and made a whistle in a pressure cooker. Both methods can be used for cooking pumpkin. After making the puree of pumpkin it will be boiled or heated for two minutes. No much boiling needed for this soup.

This soup can be enjoyed anytime of the day. I prefer at night to skip the meal and have this kind of soup. It will definitely help in weight loss. When you have this kind of soup, it makes your stomach full for a longer time, improves digestion and keeps your body healthy too.
