Suji Twister

Suji Twister is a very easy and interesting snack. From the suji, we can make different snacks but this snack is unique and different. Because this is a deep fried snack, we can store it in an airtight container. The suji twister is one of the perfect snacks for tea and coffee time.

Suji or Rava or Semolina is the most common ingredient in our kitchen. So today I tried the delicious snacks from it. I will share detailed procedures about the snacks and it is healthy too.

The storable snacks are loved by every generation. Because this snack is crunchy, attractive and delicious. Fried snacks are done in one day and stored for longer days. We can enjoy the rava snacks every day until it finishes.

Rava is the main ingredient for making these snacks. While selecting the rava it should be small. If you choose a big semolina it will not cook properly. Chilli flakes and pepper powder are just added for a little spiciness and taste, but it is not too spicy. Kasuri methi gives a good aroma and taste to the snacks.

After mixing the ingredients you have to wait for some time to give it a shape and fry. Because the semolina should absorb water properly. While giving the shape two layers is enough, otherwise it will take too much time to fry and sometimes the inner part is not fried very well. You can give other shapes if you feel this shape is difficult to make or you feel like it is time consuming. This snack must be fried in medium flame and all the sides must turn into golden colour.

The snacks are stored in an airtight container for longer shelf life. My suggestion is to store it in glass jars. It will help to improve shelf life when you keep at room temperature and it remains fresh also.

Store in an airtight container and enjoy your coffee time or side dish to the rice.  I hope you love this post and comment on it and show your love and support.
