8th batch of Google startups accelerator India

New Delhi: Google has announced that the eighth batch of its Google for Startups Accelerator: India program is now open for applications. The accelerator program is designed for AI-first startups in India that are in the Seed to Series A stage. It is a three-month, equity-free program that provides selected startups with access to Google’s resources, including programs, products, experts, and technology, particularly focusing on AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning).

Google is seeking Indian AI-first startups from various sectors that are addressing complex problems and tackling industry challenges through their AI-based solutions. The application window for the program is open until August 22.

Eligible startups should be based in India and must have AI as a core component of their product or solution, including generative AI. The ideal startups for the program are those between the Seed to Series A stages.

Selected startups will benefit from hands-on mentorship and training in areas like product development, design, growth, and leadership. The program will culminate with a Demo Day, providing visibility and networking opportunities within the startup ecosystem. After the program concludes, founders can continue to receive support through Google’s alumni network for startups.

Google has been actively supporting startups in India through its accelerator programs, with the seventh class of 20 Seed to Series A startups currently underway, engaging with mentors and Google teams to address technical, product, and business challenges.

The Google for Startups Accelerator: India program aims to empower AI-driven startups and foster innovation within the Indian tech startup community.
