iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max is expected to be similar to the Apple Watch Ultra’s Action button

iOS 17 code has provided insights into the new Action button featured on the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Similar to the Apple Watch Ultra’s Action button, this button on the iPhone 15 Pro models will offer phone-focused options, enabling users to access various functions and settings without unlocking the device or opening an app.

According to information from iOS 17 beta 4, the Action button is set to include nine customizable options. The Accessibility option will likely provide access to various accessibility features, such as VoiceOver, Zoom, and AssistiveTouch.

With the Shortcuts option, users can run any shortcuts they have created or downloaded from the Shortcuts app, enabling quick actions like sending messages, playing playlists, or controlling smart home devices.

The Silent Mode option is expected to allow users to toggle the silent mode on or off. Meanwhile, the Camera option will let users launch the Camera app and capture photos or videos with a single press of the Action button.

Additional options include Flashlight, Focus, Magnifier, Translate, and Voice Memos.

Earlier rumors have suggested that the iPhone 15 Pro models will feature Wi-Fi 6E technology for high-speed wireless connectivity. Additionally, certain display features like Always-On and ProMotion might be limited to the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Furthermore, these models are speculated to come with new features like a titanium frame and increased RAM.

As these details are based on information from iOS 17 beta 4, it’s essential to keep in mind that some aspects may change or be subject to refinement before the official release of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
