Preparing the natural way of food color is crazy. The food coloring is quite interesting and easy to prepare. Instead of store bought food color you can try this food color in your bakes and different recipes.
The taste of the natural way of food color is the same as store bought food color. You are not adding so much food color in your recipes, hence it does not ruin the tastes of recipes. If you need a new color, you can mix two colors and get a beautiful color from it. When you prepare a natural way of food color it is gluten free and completely vegan. Absolutely everyone can try any cuisine.
You can try different food colors from scratch. I tried shading like blue, orange, red, green, yellow. I have not added any preservatives, no artificial colors, just tried with different flowers, leaves, veggies. Different shades of food color is,
Red color: Everyone always wants food that must be colorful. Red is always the top priority color. You can try this color from red hibiscus flowers and from beetroot. Both are released red. For a hibiscus flower you just add little hot water and dip the flower about two to three minutes. It will release the color. From the beetroot we need to blend with little water and strain it and get a beautiful red color.
Green color: The green color is you can try from Malabar spinach or palak leaves. Same procedures are followed for both the leaves. Soak the leaves, grind it and strain it. You will get green food color.
Blue color: I tried this color from a butterfly pea flower. If you are not getting this flower, you can try from purple cabbage blend with little water, grind and stain it. You will get a beautiful blue color.
Yellow color: For getting yellow color just blend the carrot prices with little water and grind it smooth texture. After blending, strain it and you will get a yellow color.
Orange color: In a small bowl add saffron petals and dip for about 5 minutes. If you want to stain it or directly you can use the color of orange.
