Protesters to Resume ‘Dilli Chalo’ March on March 6
New Delhi: Protest leader Sarwan Singh Pandher announced on Sunday that the 'Dilli Chalo' march will recommence on March 6. This decision was made following the 'bhog ceremony' of a protester, Shubhkaran Singh, in Bathinda town, Punjab.
Pandher revealed that both the Kisan Mazdoor Morcha and the Samyukt Kisan Morcha (a non-political organization) have jointly decided that farmers from across the country will converge on Delhi on March 6. However, those currently stationed at the Punjab-Haryana borders will concentrate their protests at the Khanauri and Shambhu borders exclusively.
