Nanjing: Tragedy struck the city of Nanjing, capital of Jiangsu Province in east China, as a building fire claimed the lives of four individuals early Friday morning. According to reports from Xinhua news agency, the fire erupted in a residential building located in the Yuhuatai District at approximately 4:39 a.m. The local fire rescue team swiftly responded to the incident. Despite prompt intervention, the blaze was only extinguished around 6:00 a.m., after which rescue operations were concluded.
