Ayodhya Celebrates First Holi After Ram Temple ‘Pran Pratishtha’ Ceremony

Ayodhya: Ayodhya witnessed an unparalleled celebration of Holi on Monday, marking the grandest festivity the city has ever seen.

This Holi holds special significance as it is the first celebration after the inauguration of the Ram temple earlier this year. Devotees thronged to the temple for darshan since the early hours of the morning, offering gulal to the deity in a display of reverence.

Within the temple complex, devotees engaged in Holi festivities, showering flower petals and gulal, while also partaking in the revered tradition of ‘Chappan Bhog’—a lavish offering of 56 dishes to Lord Ram, adorned in pink brocade attire.

Amidst the joyous ambiance, priests led devotees in singing Holi songs and dancing in devotion to Ram Lalla. Acharya Satyendra Das, the chief priest of the Ram Janmabhoomi temple, expressed, “Ram Lalla is celebrating his first Holi after the Pran Pratishtha ceremony in the temple. His charming idol was adorned with flowers, and gulal was lovingly applied on his forehead.”

The festivities marked a profound moment of celebration and devotion, resonating deeply with devotees as they honored Lord Ram on this auspicious occasion.
