
IMD forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall in isolated areas of the Konkan region
Mumbai: Maharashtra is anticipated to undergo another phase of rainfall commencing from August 13th. Favorable weather patterns are predicted to bring rain to the state, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) projecting heavy to very heavy rainfall in isolated regions of both the Konkan region and Vidarbha.
From August 15th onwards, widespread rainfall is expected to encompass the state, resulting in a concentrated period of heightened precipitation. It is noteworthy that during the final week of July, rain was widespread across most areas. However, as August commenced, rainfall subsided.
