Punjab Police seize 13.7 lakh pharma opioids capsules, tablets

The Punjab Police have confiscated 13.7 lakh pharma opioids capsules and tablets, including tramadol capsules, in a seizure conducted by the Barnala police. The Directorate General of Police (DGP) announced on Twitter that a First Information Report (FIR) has been filed under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. The police are currently investigating the backward linkages to dismantle the illegal pharma drug cartel.The DGP emphasized that the police are dedicated to making the state drug-free, aligning with the vision of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
