Bengaluru: In a distressing incident on Saturday night, a heart-wrenching tragedy unfolded near Chikkaballapur, in close proximity to the capital city of Bangalore. A car, transporting passengers, met with a catastrophic accident, plunging into Amanigopalakrishna Lake on the outskirts of Chikkaballapur city and resulting in the loss of four lives.
The unfortunate victims are reported to be residents of Bangalore, and they were reportedly on a journey from Bangalore to Bagepally. The incident occurred on the Bangalore-Hyderabad National Highway, as the car approached Amanigopalakrishna Lake. It is believed that the driver lost control of the vehicle, leading to its fateful descent into the lake.
