Chilly Morning in Delhi: Minimum Temperature Dips to 5.2 Degrees Celsius

New Delhi: Delhi experienced a chilly start to the day as the minimum temperature plummeted to 5.2 degrees Celsius on Saturday, marking a deviation of five degrees below the seasonal average, as reported by the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

According to the IMD forecast, the maximum temperature for the day is expected to reach around 24 degrees Celsius, accompanied by mainly clear skies.

Relative humidity levels were recorded at 97 percent at 8:30 a.m., adding to the cold sensation gripping the capital.

Meanwhile, the overall air quality in Delhi continued to linger in the ‘poor’ category, highlighting persistent concerns regarding air pollution in the national capital.
