Kara boondi mixture is a popular snack In India. This is done on the occasion of Deepavali. Spicy or kara boondi is added to great Indian mixture recipes. This mixture is a completely vegan and crunchy snack.
This recipe is spicy boondi but the mixture is not too spicy because I added less chilli powder. The kara boondi mixture does not need much time to prepare. If the consistency is perfect it is best and an instant snack. The recipe of kara boondi is simple and does not need much ingredients. The taste of kara boondi is awesome and crunchy. You can have any time of the day.
Kara boondi recipe mainly needs besan flour. This recipe is spiced with red chilly powder, turmeric powder, and hing. Add all the ingredients and make the batter. The batter must be flowing consistently and it should not have any lumps in it. Once the batter is ready, with the help of slotted spatula leave a boondi to hot oil. Spread the batter gently using a spoon or another ladle.
While leaving boondi oil must be high flame otherwise boondi will become flat.
Adding the ground nuts and curry leaves becomes a more tasty mixture. When we bite the mixture it will taste yummy. You can add other ingredients like cashews, nuts, garlic and all. The boondi will be crispy and crunchy. Whenever you want you can consume the whole day. The boondi must be stored in an airtight container. While storing it not be hot, once it’s cooled after only transferring the airtight container. When it’s hot, we transfer to the container and it will be moist so taste will ruin. We cannot store for a longer time.
