Karnataka Congress Rallies Cadres for Lok Sabha Elections

Mangaluru: Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka and State Congress President, D.K. Shivakumar, issued a fervent call to party cadres on Saturday, urging them to embark on a grassroots campaign to garner support for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

Addressing the Congress Party Workers’ Convention in Mangaluru, Shivakumar emphasized the importance of door-to-door outreach to mobilize backing for the party.

Expressing optimism, Shivakumar highlighted the resonance of Congress’s guarantee schemes, particularly among women in the region, predicting a favorable outcome with an anticipated win of at least 20 seats in the forthcoming general elections.

Encouraging party workers to actively seek votes, Shivakumar asserted the fulfillment of electoral promises, underscoring the government’s successful implementation of various schemes, unmatched by previous administrations.

Drawing attention to political alliances, Shivakumar questioned the rationale behind recent collaborations between rival parties, citing ideological inconsistencies and the primacy of principles in politics.
