Karni Sena Chief’s Murder Case: Two Shooters and an Associate Apprehended

New Delhi: In a significant development, authorities have made progress in the investigation of the murder of Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi. Two shooters and an associate, involved in the heinous crime, were apprehended in a late-night joint operation conducted by the Delhi Crime Branch and Rajasthan Police in Chandigarh.

The two shooters, identified as Rohit Rathore and Nitin Fauji, along with their associate named Udham, were taken into custody by the police. However, officials are still in the process of verifying Udham’s specific role in Gogamedi’s murder.

After the murder, the accused reportedly concealed their weapons and traveled from Rajasthan to Hisar in Haryana. Subsequently, they made their way to Manali in Himachal Pradesh before returning to Chandigarh, where the arrest took place. While Rohit and Udham were brought to Delhi by the Delhi Police, Nitin Fauji remains in the custody of the Rajasthan Police.

Earlier, a cash reward of Rs 5 lakh was announced by the police for information leading to the arrest of the suspects.
