Bengaluru: LPG cylinder blast in Bengaluru on Tuesday left at least six individuals injured and caused damage to five houses, as confirmed by the Yelahanka New Town police. The incident, which occurred in Lal Bahadur Shastri Layout in Yelahanka, is currently under investigation.
Two of the injured persons are reportedly in critical condition and have been moved to Victoria Hospital, while others are receiving treatment at the Yelahanka government hospital. The explosion originated from a cylinder stored at a residence.
The blast resulted in the destruction of five neighboring houses within the jurisdiction of the Yelahanka police station. The injured individuals identified so far are Wasiya Banu, Salma, Shaheed, Asma, and Afroj. The identity of the sixth person involved is yet to be determined.
