Gaza: The death toll among Palestinians in the Gaza Strip has tragically climbed to 32,623, as reported by the Hamas-run Health Ministry in a recent press statement. According to a news agency report, the Israeli army’s actions in the past 24 hours alone resulted in the deaths of 71 Palestinians and injuries to 112 others.
This escalation brings the total number of casualties to 32,623 deaths and 75,092 injuries since the onset of the Israel-Hamas conflict. In the latest wave of violence, at least 20 Palestinians, including women and children, lost their lives during Israeli airstrikes in Gaza City, according to the official news agency.
The ongoing conflict stems from Israel’s response to a Hamas incursion across the southern Israeli border on October 7, 2023, which resulted in approximately 1,200 fatalities and over 200 individuals being taken hostage. Israel has launched a significant offensive against Hamas in the Gaza Strip in retaliation for these actions.
