Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to distribute more than 1 lakh appointment letters to newly recruited individuals across various government departments on February 12 (Monday) as part of the ‘Rozgar Mela’ initiative.
Scheduled to commence at 10:30 a.m. via video conferencing, the distribution of appointment letters underscores the government’s commitment to prioritizing employment generation. The Rozgar Mela will be conducted simultaneously at 47 different locations nationwide.
New recruits receiving appointment letters on Monday will be joining various ministries and departments under both Central and state governments. As part of their induction process, they will have the opportunity to undergo training through the Karmayogi Prarambh program, an online module available on the iGOT Karmayogi portal, offering over 880 e-learning courses accessible for ‘anywhere any device’ learning format, according to a government release.
The Rozgar Mela stands as a flagship initiative of the Modi government, aiming to bolster employment opportunities across all government sectors.
