Lucknow: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Uttar Pradesh has undergone rescheduling and shortening owing to the ongoing UP Board exams. Ajay Rai, the UPCC chief, confirmed that the yatra’s entry into UP would be postponed to February 16 from the initial date of February 14. Similarly, the exit from UP has been advanced to February 22/23 instead of the earlier plan of February 27/28.
The revised itinerary will exclude western UP, redirecting the yatra towards Bundelkhand. While a detailed revised plan is forthcoming, the primary route from Chandauli to Lucknow remains unchanged.
Commencing from Chandauli, the yatra will pass through Varanasi, Bhadohi, Prayagraj, and Pratapgarh before reaching Amethi. Rae Bareli and Lucknow are subsequent stops.
On February 19, the yatra is scheduled to cover Amethi and Rae Bareli. However, instead of proceeding to Sitapur from Lucknow, it will now head to Kanpur and then to Jhansi before entering Madhya Pradesh. Adjustments might be made between Kanpur and Jhansi.
