Jaipur: Amin Pathan, the general secretary of Congress’ Rajasthan unit, faced arrest on Sunday following accusations of misconduct towards a Forest Department team. The team had arrived to take action against Pathan after reports emerged of him owning a farmhouse constructed on forest land.
Pathan was apprehended at his residence in Anantpura, Kota, on Sunday evening and subsequently taken to a police station. Later, he was presented before a court and remanded to judicial custody.
