New Delhi: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat, presently on a three-day visit to Assam, is scheduled to visit the river island of Majuli on Thursday. During his visit, Bhagwat will hold discussions with ‘Sattradhikars’—the heads of Vaishnav monasteries, as confirmed by an RSS spokesperson.
The spokesperson revealed that Bhagwat plans to engage in significant conversations, including those on religious conversions, with tribal communities and the leaders of various monasteries during his two-day stay. The outcome of these discussions is anticipated to play a pivotal role in shaping the RSS’s approach to prevailing social issues in the region.
