Shilpa Shetty’s Apprehension during the Climax Shoot of ‘Sahasa Veerudu Sagara Kanya’

In the movie ‘Sahasa Veerudu Sagara Kanya’, actress Shilpa Shetty displayed remarkable determination while shooting the climax. Recently, on ‘India’s Got Talent’ season 10, the ‘Surya Archery Academy’ amazed everyone with their exceptional archery skills, hitting the bull’s-eye with incredible accuracy.

Judge Shilpa Shetty was highly impressed by the young talents and praised them, saying they have the potential to become future Olympians. The duo from the ‘Surya Archery Academy’ even revealed that Shilpa, fondly known as ‘Sagar Kanya’ for her role in the film, is their favorite judge.

Hearing this, Shilpa was overwhelmed and shared a nostalgic moment from her past. She recalled her role as a mermaid named Bangaram in ‘Sahasa Veerudu Sagara Kanya,’ a Telugu film from 1996 directed by K. Raghavendra Rao. Shilpa mentioned that she was afraid to shoot the climax as it involved being in water, and she was hydrophobic at the time. However, despite her fear, they managed to film the scene successfully.

‘Sahasa Veerudu Sagara Kanya’ starred Venkatesh, Shilpa Shetty, and Malashree, with music composed by M. M. Keeravani. The movie was dubbed in Tamil as ‘Kanavu Kanni’ and in Hindi as ‘Sagar Kanya.’

Judge Badshah also praised the young archers and admired their cultural representation and dressing. He appreciated their discipline and composure while showcasing their archery skills, which he and Arjun Bijlani (the show’s host) had attempted and found challenging.

‘India’s Got Talent’ season 10 aims to highlight exceptional talent, and the participants will compete to impress the judges – Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Kirron Kher, and Badshah – to secure their place in the competition. The show offers a diverse talent pool, ranging from shadow puppetry to archery, mind reading to card magic, Indian classical dance to innovative drone acts.

Additionally, some participants will attempt to break Guinness World Records with their extraordinary talents, making the 10th season a historic milestone to cherish. The show, produced by Fremantle India Television Productions Pvt Ltd, will be hosted by actor Arjun Bijlani and will air on Sony.
