Yogi Govt Launches Helpline for Senior Citizens: ‘Kalyan Sathi’
Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has introduced a new helpline, 'Kalyan Sathi' with the number 14568, dedicated to assisting senior citizens across the state.
Simultaneously, the government has unveiled the 'Kalyan Sathi' mobile application, an old age home portal, and the departmental quarterly magazine 'Kalyani' to enhance support and communication for the elderly.
Senior citizens eligible for various schemes can now access benefits by simply dialing the Kalyan Sathi helpline number. The department ensures that beneficiaries receive scheme benefits at their doorstep through Panchayat assistants, with services operational from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on working days.
