
Sydney: A devastating fire engulfed a house in Queensland, Australia, claiming the lives of six individuals. The grim discovery was made by Queensland Fire and Emergency Services after they successfully extinguished the flames on a Sunday afternoon. According to a statement from the Queensland Police, the bodies were found at the scene during an initial examination.
Among the missing residents were a 34-year-old man and five boys, as reported by Xinhua news agency, citing the police. The identities of the deceased will be confirmed through a post-mortem and scientific examination.
Thankfully, two individuals managed to escape the blaze. A 28-year-old woman and a 21-year-old woman were rushed to the hospital and are currently in stable condition.
