Patna: A devastating accident occurred in Bihar’s Araria district, resulting in the loss of four lives and injuring six others. Officials reported that a high-speed tractor, transporting passengers who were returning from the immersion of Goddess Saraswati idols in a river, collided with a height barrier at Diyari Panchayat on Thursday night.
According to the police investigation, the driver failed to spot the height barrier, leading to the tragic mishap. Three individuals succumbed to their injuries at the scene, while another passed away en route to the hospital. The deceased were identified as Amit Kumar Mandal, Sadanand Mandal, Munna Kumar Mandal, and Manesh Kumar Mandal.
