Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken a significant step to boost homeopathy education by releasing funds for the improvement of infrastructure in homeopathic clinics. The government’s commitment to enhancing public health is evident in its efforts to provide better facilities for doctors and staff, ultimately ensuring quality healthcare for the people.
The government has released the third installment of Rs 1.85 crores for the construction of a PG hostel at the Government National Homeopathic Medical College in Lucknow. The total cost of the hostel construction is Rs 4.08 crores, with the first and second installments already released, amounting to Rs 1.44 crore and Rs 78.67 lakhs, respectively.
A total of Rs 2.25 crores has been received for the completion of the hostel in two phases, and the recent release of the third installment of Rs 1.85 crores, along with additional funds allocated for vehicle purchases and other expenses, will further support the project.
In addition, an amount of Rs 4 crores has been allocated for various essential works, including strengthening the inpatient and outpatient departments of Pt Jawaharlal Nehru Homeopathic College in Kanpur, Rajkiya Lal Bahadur Shastri Homeopathic Medical College in Prayagraj, and Government National Homeopathic Medical College in Lucknow.
The government is also focusing on 24 major construction projects for homeopathic medical colleges in Kanpur, Prayagraj, and Lucknow, demonstrating its dedication to improving homeopathy education and healthcare facilities in the state. This move is expected to have a positive impact on the overall healthcare system, providing better resources for both medical professionals and patients alike.
