USA Women’s Water Polo Team Secures 8th World Title

Doha: In a thrilling finale at the World Aquatics Championships, the United States women’s water polo team clinched their eighth world title, narrowly edging out Hungary with a score of 8-7 in the final match.

Heading into the fourth quarter, the match was deadlocked at 5-5. However, the U.S. surged ahead with crucial goals from Rachel Fattal, Maggie Steffens, and Ryann Neushul, establishing an 8-5 lead. Despite Hungary’s late comeback attempts, the U.S. maintained their composure to seal the victory with a final score of 8-7.
