New Delhi: In a momentous address during the coronation ceremony of Lord Shri Ram at Mansarovar Ramlila Maidan on Tuesday evening, Yogi Adityanath proclaimed the establishment of Ram Rajya. The occasion marked the long-awaited realization of a 500-year dream as Lord Ram’s grand temple in ‘Ayodhyadham’ nears completion, largely due to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Yogi Adityanath highlighted how the government, under Prime Minister Modi’s guidance, has endeavored to make the principles of Lord Ram’s kingdom a reality for millions of impoverished citizens. This has been achieved through the provision of homes, sanitation facilities, nourishment, healthcare, and other essential services, with these public welfare schemes forming the bedrock of Ram Rajya.
The chief minister emphasized the unique significance of this year’s Vijayadashami and Diwali celebrations, as they coincide with the imminent enshrinement of Lord Ram in his magnificent temple. He expressed gratitude for witnessing this divine moment and attributed its realization to the synergy between the central and state governments, both sharing a common ideology, which facilitated the temple’s construction.
He commended Prime Minister Modi for advocating the ideals of Ram Rajya across the nation, providing housing for 4 crore impoverished individuals, constructing 12 crore toilets, distributing free rations to 80 crore people, offering healthcare security worth Rs 5 lakhs for the underprivileged, and extending financial assistance of Rs 5 lakhs in times of disaster.
Yogi Adityanath also drew a parallel between the celebrations of Vijayadashami in various corners of the country, emphasizing that regardless of the diversity in rituals, a profound and unifying faith in Lord Shri Ram connects people across India.
The chief minister acknowledged the existence of negative forces throughout history, emphasizing the necessity for unity and positivity to prevail over divisiveness and negativity. He asserted that if society upholds the principles of righteousness and justice, it will continue to prosper. Conversely, when division and negativity take hold, they manifest as terrorism, extremism, criminality, and lawlessness.
In conclusion, Yogi Adityanath expounded on Lord Shri Ram’s principles and quoted Maharishi Valmiki to emphasize the essence of righteousness within ‘Sanatan Dharma.’ He noted that those opposing ‘Sanatan Dharma’ are often responsible for perpetuating caste-based discrimination, hindering societal and national unity.
